Confidential work
Disrupting the healthcare business.
Helping a world's leading medical device company design a nebulizer system for people affected by asthma, leveraging a new capsule business model.
My role:
project manager (PM) & client account
Team structure:
1 PM, 2 prod. designers, 2 mech. engineers
Project timeline:
4 months (year 2020)
The process
We aligned the stakeholders on the same project plan. We drove continuous alignment through collaborative working sessions and clear communication. We involved mechanical engineers in the user-centric analysis of the nebulizer system to ensure the link between usability, desirability, and feasibility.
The outcome
We delivered the 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings of the nebulizer system devices ready for production, together with the design inputs (UX analysis, user journey)

Presenting the results of the Design thinking workshop.
My tasks
I created the proposal, plan, and quotation. I coordinated the work of our teams, client departments, and an external R&D partner. I set up a design thinking workshop with teams from 3 different areas of the world. I ensured the project deliverables met the expected quality and time constraints.
The challenges
Navigating stakeholders' dynamics required a deep understanding, strategic thinking, and diplomatic communication. I quickly realized the importance of my soft skills, as I understood that the role is primarily about people.
